Competence as a therapist requires both skill building/training and a commitment to our own healing and growth as humans.
In a process oriented training group therapists are invited to work interpersonally in the “here and now” to practice identifying and expressing the thoughts, feelings and reactions they have inside themselves, and towards others. Interpersonal work helps therapists enlarge the psychological container they bring to their clients and provides a space for authentic and meaningful connection.
The group is also a place to talk through challenging professional and personal experiences, explore countertransference, and work towards a fulfilling and enlivening career.
Group membership reduces burnout, isolation and imposter syndrome and increases resilience and vitality.
